This website was created for anyone who wants to share their experiences living at ISLAND BREEZE APARTMENTS 1040-1048 GROESBECK RD CINCINNATI,OHIO 45224. After being "BOOTED OFF THE ISLAND" due too RAW SEWAGE backing up in the basement apartments,I think it was a blessing.
This place is a flood zone and i would'nt recommend anyone moving in a basement apartment at that location.you may find your self swimming through HUMAN BOWEL MOVEMENT,CONDOMS,TOILET PAPER,TAMPONS AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT IS FLUSHED DOWN THE COMMODE.AND LETS NOT FORGET THE SLUDGE.
This is due to the bad sewage system on the property.I guest that is why the building sell's every few years to new unsuspecting buyer's.The problem has been on going and no one want's to fix the problem.From what i have heard,it's not the city's responsibility,it lies with the owner.I know "ROTO ROOTER" and "REDI ROOTER" have made a lot of money off that property.
The stince that linger's from the contaminated carpet in the hallway is unbelivable.Now you would think that after carpet was soak over 24 hours with the raw sewage i described above(at least 2 inches deep),that they would pull it up.No,they just cleaned the carpet with a carpet shampooer filled with tap water and carpet cleaner.I'm no expert,but I would think that the water temprature would have to be a certain degree to properly kill germs.
HERE ARE JUST A FEW OF THE PICTURES OF THE DEVESATATION THAT OCCURED ON OCTOBER 10TH,2008.THIS STARTED AT 6:15AM AND LASTED UNTIL LATE AFTERNOON OF OCTOBER 11TH,2008 BEFORE THE CLOGGED LINE WAS OPENED.
